The towel embroidery machine is a special computer embroidery machine. It belongs to three-dimensional embroidery, with the characteristics of diversity, layering, and strong three-dimensional sense. At present, domestic towel embroidery machines are mainly imitated from foreign machines, and the spindle speed is still around 650r/min, which is difficult to meet market demand. There is an urgent need to improve embroidery efficiency, but as long as the spindle speed is increased, the thread breakage rate will increase, the noise and vibration will increase, and even the mechanism will be easily stuck, affecting the normal operation of the equipment. In view of the above problems, the towel embroidery machine is taken as the research object. By analyzing its structure and movement, the reasons why the equipment cannot meet the high-speed movement are found out, and the optimization design is carried out to solve the problems of easy jamming of the mechanism, increased thread breakage rate, increased noise and vibration, so that the spindle speed can be increased to 1200r/min, and the thread breakage rate is less than 1 time/20,000 stitches, and the noise is less than 85db. The goal, the embroidery efficiency is improved to meet market demand. The main research work of the paper is as follows: 1. Taking the machine head as the main research object, its structure is analyzed, and the motion analysis of its needle bar mechanism, mouth guard mechanism and presser foot mechanism is carried out. The motion coordination relationship of the machine head to realize towel embroidery is obtained, and the reasons for the easy jamming of the machine head, the increase of thread breakage rate, and the increase of noise and vibration are analyzed; 2. The characteristics and applicable occasions of the cam mechanism are analyzed, and a new set of machine heads is designed by replacing the swing roller push rod groove cam mechanism with the concentric linear roller push rod disc cam mechanism, which solves the problem of easy jamming of the mechanism; 3. The types and applicable occasions of the motion law of the cam mechanism follower are analyzed, and the motion law of the new needle bar, mouth guard and presser foot is optimized, so that the machine head can adapt to high-speed operation and the spindle speed can be increased. 4. According to the optimized motion law, a new cam is designed, and the motion analysis of the new machine head adopting the optimized motion law is carried out, and it is compared with the motion analysis of the new machine head adopting the motion law before optimization, and the optimization effect and feasibility of the machine head motion law are verified. 5. Through the crossbeam vibration test, the performance of the optimized equipment is evaluated and the reliability of the equipment is verified.
